· 8/12-13: Previews Program—A 2-day orientation to Mendham High School designed to ease the transition from middle school to high school

· 8/27: Freshman Parent Orientation & Peer Leader Party—Held in late August each year on the night before Freshman Orientation. Important school information provided to parents while Freshman enjoy a fun ice-breaker led by the Peer Leaders.

· 8/28: Freshman Orientation—Typically held the day prior to the first day of school, this half-day program addresses typical concerns: lockers, busses, & finding your way.

September:

· 9/3: First Day of School

· 9/15-19: Bio Class Presentations on Organization, Note-taking, Seeking extra-help from teachers.

· 9/12: Pep Rally

October:

· 10/3: First Interim Progress Report

· 10/7: "Making HS Count" Presentation to freshman class.

· TBA: Peer Leader Ice Cream Social

· 10/6-17: Individual conferences regarding progress reports.

· 10/27-31: Small group meetings: McG's Study Tips

November:

· 11/5: End of First Marking Period

· TBD: Peer Leader Meetings via Health Classes

· 11/10-14: History Presentations: End of 1st marking period, GPA, Setting Goals.

December:

· 12/5: Second Marking Period Interim Progress Reports

· 12/8-12: Small group meetings: Get Involved/clubs/community service.

· 12/15-19: Individual progress report meetings

January:
