About Me

I have been a biology teacher in the West Morris Regional High School District at Central for 21 years.  Prior to my arrival, I taught at a regional high school in New Hampshire, and both public and private schools in Connecticut.

I did my undergraduate studies in Chemistry-Biology / Secondary Education at Keene State College in NH.  It was here at the teaching branch of the University of New Hampshire where I received by Bachelor of Science Degree.  I also completed my Masters in the Art of Teaching from Marygrove College in July of 2001.

On a personal note, I enjoy gardening, exercising and above all, spending time with my husband and two children.

My goal, my mission as a teacher is to heighten my students’ awareness of what is going on around them in the world and instill a desire to understand how and why it works.  Along this path of discovery I would like them to find that they can achieve an understanding of life and how they learn most effectively.  I feel each student has the ability within to learn.  They can if they believe!
