Out of Class Support

Purpose:

To access additional time for test preparation, assistance with projects, organization and re-teaching of concepts and/or skills.

 

Expectations:

· Arrive on time or have a pass. The MHS attendance policy applies to OCS as well! Three lates will result in an afterschool detention.

 

· If you do not attend OCS for every day of the rotation you MUST come check in first  for attendance and receive a pass down to Study Hall in the cafeteria.

 

· You are expected to work for the entire period. Please come prepared with the materials you will need as you are not going to be allowed to leave once you are in the library. If you have nothing to work on I will help you with organization and HSPA preparation.

 

· You should use this time to seek extra help from your teachers, if available. Please report to OCS first for a pass.

 

· Computers are only for word processing or research when needed. If you are caught using non schoolwork related sites (myspace, email, etc) your privilege to use the computer will be revoked. You must ask to use the computer first as well as present the assignment to me.

 

· No talking is permitted. Class is held in the library so please be courteous to those around you.

 

· No food, drinks, or hats are allowed in the library.
