"The limits of my language are the limits of my universe."
– Ludwig Wittgenstein

I am proud to begin my twenty fourth year teaching Spanish at West Morris Central. I look forward to a year full of  enrichment, learning and fun in my Spanish 4 classes.

My study of Spanish began much like that of my students.  In high school I fell in love with both the language, history and cultures of Spain and the Latin American world. My family hosted an exchange student and afterwards I was fortunate enough to spend a summer in Chile.

As a Douglass College student I continued to pursue my interest in the Spanish language as I worked toward a degree with a double major in Spanish and Economics.  I served as the president of the Casa Española, a residence where all pledged to speak solely Spanish.  I also studied with New York University in Madrid as a college junior.

I earned my Master’s of Arts in Teaching at Monclair State College and was initiated as a member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society.
